Recurrent haploid selection is based on the phenotype of plants. This method was reported to be very effective because high pressure. The aim this study quantify effect five generations recurrent a sweet corn population developed by intercrossing 40 hybrid cultivars. We compared initial population, cycles selection, and mass after in six environments. results indicated that had no positive yield or quality. For traits tillering, tip fill, total number ears, significant changes from cycle were observed but differing directions. performance per se single plants has probably low correlation their combining ability population. Positive best ears resulted improvement yield, reduction marketable about 2-day delay flowering. In conclusion, individual not an efficient improve investigated.
